1 week to go.

Suddenly I find us all packed and with 1 week till we fly. Due to a few delays with the new house (typical builders) our flights have been delayed by a couple of days. We are now expecting to fly this time next week and the nerves have kicked in a little. During our last week in Scotland I will be updating the Blog loads so that we are ready to start Blogging from the sunshine.
A Few photos of the kids and I at the Common Ridings this year. Much fun was had by all and a memorable way to finish the summer.

Dish Dash Dune Bash

I just had to share this with everyone. Mike and his fellow work mates thought it would be great fun to head out into the Desert for some dune bashing with their new wheels and camp overnight. Boys and Toys!!  Anyway to cut a long story short they got the cars stuck and spent 4 hours trying to dig the out. Eventually they had to admit defeat and walk back to their camp and called to be rescued!!!!!  I have laughed so hard the last few days thinking of this. I reckon us women will have to show them how to drive properly once I get there.

Vaulting Competition

A very successful day at the Vaulting Comp at Oatridge. Well done to DVG, you were all fantastic. It was Rowan's first competition and I think I was more nervous than her. She got 14th for her individual, 4th in the fun walk team and a amazing 2nd in the pre-novice team. Lauren got 10th in her individual, 4th in the fun walk and 2nd in the pre-novice team. Such amazing results. Well worth the very long day.

Easter Weekend.

Lauren was dancing at a local Wedding this weekend. I was very proud and she performed brilliantly. Well Done. It was not our local piper but she made sure she gave him instructions about how to do it!!! It was also very strange to meet Duncan who performed our Humanist Ceremony at our own Wedding all those months ago. Lovely to meet up again.

Sunshine at the Stables

A few wee photos from our weekend at the Yard. The girls decided Snaffles needed a bath, he looked lovely until he made it back to the field and rolled.!!!

Countdown.

Hello All,

I wanted to create this Blog to allow us to keep in touch with everyone after we move. I thought I would set it up before we go to share our thoughts and photos prior to leaving so that I am familar with using it and ready to begin at the other end.
We now have 14 and half weeks to the big move, all going to plan. Mike is already there and having a ball. I am getting regular emails back to the UK with loads of photos.
The girls are very excited and enjoying the sunshine here, making the most of things.
Over the next few days I will upload some photos of our adventures here.
